In any divorce/separation, Greg attempts to quickly negotiate a settlement. However, with highly contested matters, sometimes a settlement cannot be reached and parties are forced to turn to the courts for resolution. Greg has conducted over 100 court trials in his over 30 years of practice. As lead legal counsel, Greg has represented clients at all British Columbia court levels, from Provincial and Supreme Court to the Court of Appeal. Outside of court, Greg has experience settling claims through direct negotiations, collaborative law, mediation, and arbitration.
In his family law practice, Greg focuses on the financial aspects of family law disputes. Greg’s experience includes drafting complex financial agreements for separating couples, including division of family company and family trust values.
